Gallant Designs comprises of two 4th year Graphic Design students, Adam (that’s me) and Cody who currently live in the beautiful and always eventful central Iowa where we herd cattle and in our free time design t-shirts and iPhone cases that we thought may interest the wonderful people of Tumblr. We all have our fandoms that we dedicate countless hours to, but for the most part, we came to realize that the shirts that we wanted to wear weren’t being produced for the most part, and if they were, they weren’t very cute. But then we had a revelation! Why wait around for someone else to make them, when we could do the work ourselves…we are design students after all. |

Momentai everyone! Here is the first piece in a new series of assorted “School Photo” designs. The first one being Terriermon from digimon Tamers, looking all cute and sporting his winning catchphrase. And here is another update! Two within a week? What is this the end of the word? NO, I’m just working hard AND playing hard. It’s summer after all. AS per request of rattleafewcages I created the tentomon evolutionary chain! I used the X anitbody Herculeskabuterimon, because he is much more interesting looking than just a bigger bug. I rember getting Herculeskabuterimon in my starter pack as a kid and having a serious WTF moment. Everyone else was turning into to crazy cool things, and he just turned into a gold bug… anyways, both shirts are available on redbubble: So please go and take a look! Give us some feedback!

And after a very long absence, I have returned with a third Evolution of Monsters shirt! This time we feature the increasingly difficult evolutionary chain of Patamon. I really enjoy how this turned out, but I think that drawing all three of the angels took longer than all of the other shirts put together… What do you guys think? This is an older piece Cody made that we never made a post about. It depicts the ascension from Angemon to Seraphimon in a minimalist cutout fashion. And it looks super cool as an iphone case. While Cody moves ahead with his pokemon ideas, I am still stuck back in the Digital World. This is just a play on the evolution of man (hopefully, obviously). And as simple as it may appear, making easily recognizable silhouettes is hard work. It is currently available in both light and dark versions on Redbubble, with posters and iphone cases soon to follow. It may become a series if there is enough interest in it becoming a series, because who doesn’t want a Vikemon shirt? Who would you want next? |
