Gallant Designs comprises of two 4th year Graphic Design students, Adam (that’s me) and Cody who currently live in the beautiful and always eventful central Iowa where we herd cattle and in our free time design t-shirts and iPhone cases that we thought may interest the wonderful people of Tumblr.
We all have our fandoms that we dedicate countless hours to, but for the most part, we came to realize that the shirts that we wanted to wear weren’t being produced for the most part, and if they were, they weren’t very cute. But then we had a revelation! Why wait around for someone else to make them, when we could do the work ourselves…we are design students after all.

So we have officially graduated from school, which means a few things, but most importantly it means that we have zero more homework to be completing which means we have more time to devote to our own projects.
When we started our avengers initiate, I couldn’t wait to get to my main man Carol Danvers, but then once I started working on her I couldn’t decide which Marvel outfit to make…so I ended up with all four of these….
You may also notice that they are now being posted to our Society6 store as opposed to RedBubble. We had to make the heavy decision of switching vendors after multiple accounts of our work being taken down.
With the new store, we have new needs. It would be extremely extremely extremely EXTREMELY helpful if you could help us promote our work on the site. The art is ordered on the pages based on how many people “like” each piece. The more people who click the little heart button, the closer to the front page and the more visibility we will get, which will allow us to continue working, etc, etc.

Hello all you beautiful people! Over here at Gallant Designs we assume that every one of our followers has seen Marvel’s the AVENGERS (or Avengers Assemble if you are across the ocean). We went to go see it at midnight, and while there was a cringeworthy crowd in attendance, the film was still one of, if not THE, greatest super hero movie we have ever seen (Sorry Sky High, you have been surpassed). In honor of the movie we have gone into Avengers design frenzy, making minimalist iphone cases inspired heavily by our favorite members of the team.
For this first wave we have Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and the ever important Spider-Woman all available at our redbubble store!

Hey everyone! Remember when I posted those pokemon posters I made for my art show last week and they ended up being the most popular post I have ever and will ever make on tumblr? Well I decided that making them available as posters, stickers, and phone cases was a very logical choice.
So now it is official, the Red version is now available in all of the above listed formats on our Redbubble store and the version with Blue on it will be uploaded shortly.
So if you like what we are doing or know someone who could really use a pokemon poster on their wall we will graciously accept your patronage!
In other news, we are both officially graduating university next weekend, which means that our lives will actually have free time in them which means we will actually be able to do art that isn’t assigned for class! Expect a lot more frequent updates in the weeks to come.

Contrary to its name sake, Spring Break was very busy for Cody and I, and on top of that we were cities apart, slowly are collaborative juices to a minimum. But now break is over, and the dread of real life has quickly reaffirmed itself as the main motivational factor of our lives. It is going to be hectic from here on out, but we should be back on a more regular schedule by the end of this week/the beginning of next. Thank you for your patience and for sticking around!

Honetly, Adventure 02 didn’t really do much for Cody or me so I wouldn’t hold your breath. It may turn up down the line, but it really isn’t a priority for us right now. There are several things we have planned digimon wise though, and then have had a lot of discussion internally about broadening the scope of what we are creating, which I think will be very interesting.
We just watched Tamers, and are currently in the middle of both Frontier and Savers so that’s where are minds seem to be right now, but don’t lose hope; plans change very quickly around here.

Now presenting the second of my conversions from my old colorlust account is Biohazard, aka Resident Evil presented in a horror b-movie style. Jill and Chris getting to business of slaying some t-virus zombies and the such. I updated the coloring a lot to give it a much more cohesive look, and I really enjoy how it turned out.
